Composite dock fender is independent researched and developed of patented technology products by our company. It is made by fiberglass and epoxy resin pultruded rod as inner enhanced reinforcement, wrapped recycled waste

polyethylene (HDPE) outside, produce outline mold according to outline dimension and designed strength request, to continuously mold thermoplastic cylindrical products. It is the upgrade of replacement new products of same kind of wooden dock fender, silicone fender, ect. (Figure 1) is the new type of the best engineering indispensable new materials of dock in construction.

2.Performance of the plastic dock fender

2. According to GB2411-8(ASTM2240) ShaoEr hardness(xhs-d) of the surface is between40-60°

3.According to (ASTM4329) 500 hours ultraviolet resistance test, surface of the materials has no obvious colour and

shape changes, and ShaoEr hardness change is not strongthan 10%.

4.Plastic fender density should be 0.63-0.87 kg/DM3.

5.Water Absoption: 24 hours not more than 3%.

6.Outer is entity recycling high density polyethylene (HDPE), the heart part is low foaming recycled polyethylene (physical performance to the enterprise standard), auxiliary strengthen great for pultrusion epoxy FRP rod, the physical properties of the standard is according to (IQTC) to execution.
