What is Pultrusion

Pultrusion is a manufacturing technique used to manufacture continuous FRP structure shapes without changing the cross-section.

Generally, pultrusion involves pulling raw materials (polymer covering veils, textile reinforcing fibers, resin formulations, etc.) through a heated metal forming die.

The reinforcing material is usually in a continuous shape, such as a hollow spool of glass fiber roving or doffing or a continuous filament mat.
